MIDEM returns to Cannes as a meeting point for the international music industry. Artists, labels, publishers, live-music professionals, technology businesses, students and innovators come together for conferences, professional exchange, showcases and performances at the Palais des Festivals.

A January stay in Cannes

Winter Cannes is quieter than the summer resort season, but MIDEM concentrates activity around the Palais and city centre. A private apartment gives visitors a flexible base for professional sessions and evening performances, with space to work and prepare away from public venues.

January weather can be bright but cool, particularly after sunset. Pack for changing conditions and check individual concert or showcase locations before leaving the apartment. If you plan to arrive early for setup or remain after the event, include those dates in your request.
